Local business Notcutts Garden Centre has kindly donated a range of trees to Woodford Primary School.

The trees were donated as part of their 125-year Anniversary and commitment to sustainability across local communities.

The trees have been planted in the Forest School, which will provide pupils with the opportunity to learn about the great outdoors and a chance to explore the natural world.

Head of School Mrs Drake said:

“We are extremely grateful to Notcutts Garden Centre for their generosity and it’s a real privilege to be part of their 125-year anniversary. Their donation will help us to enrich our curriculum and provide pupils with a fantastic learning experience in our Forest School environment”.

We look forward to building our relations with Notcutts Garden Centre and providing pupils with valuable opportunities to dream big and fly high.

Children in Reception have been working on drawing a Nativity scene as part of a competition for the Christ Church Parish magazine.

We are excited to share that a pupil from Woodford Primary School has won the competition!

The judges were impressed by their colourful rendition of the Nativity scene.

The drawing now features on the front cover of the December edition of the magazine!

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, another three pupils in Reception were amongst the five runners-up.

Their artwork can be found on page 4 of the magazine.

Well done to everybody for their fantastic entries, and to the children whose wonderful drawings were featured in the magazine.

Thank you to Christ Church for running such a fun competition, the children thoroughly enjoyed taking part!
