Woodford Primary School celebrates being awarded Ofsted’s highest possible judgement, Outstanding in every category, following its first ever inspection.

Following a rigorous two day visit on 18 and 19 March 2025, the school was awarded the highest possible rating of ‘Outstanding’ in all five areas.

The school received glowing praise from inspectors, who described it as “an excellent school and a happy place to learn.” Inspectors also highlighted the school’s exceptional curriculum, culture of ambition, and commitment to ensuring every child thrives.

Inspectors found that pupils “flourish academically and socially,” while noting how they benefit from an “exceptional curriculum” and demonstrate “exemplary behaviour and attitudes to learning.”

SEND provision, reading, and personal development were also singled out for high-quality practice, reflecting the school’s inclusive ethos and commitment to ensuring every pupil reaches their full potential.
